As parents, we want them to enjoy their time off, but we also want to continue the learning throughout the summer months. What better way to accomplish that goal than with a summer reading program! The fantastic thing is that there are several to choose from, and each has prizes to motivate your kids to work hard and read lots. There are programs for both children and adults, so go ahead and make this one a family project. In addition to prizes for reading, the library has plenty of extra programming going on as well You can see live animals, magicians, and other entertainers. In addition tracking your reading time through the SPARK program helps the community reach our 10 million minute goal. Once that goal is reached a donation will be made to Humane Fort Wayne which will feed pets in need for an entire month. Book worms and animal lovers unite!
